Hi! My name is Ségercz Ferenc and I created this website with the intention of helping those who are willing to get in touch with the traditional shepherd pipe. I have been involved in the last years with studying, creating and collecting these traditional instruments, as well as with teaching and bringing back traditional music into the life of the modern man.
My intention is to help you in this pursuit by providing you with thorough examination and documentation of the traditions and the music that the elders taught us. Here you will be met with written descriptions, video tutorials, lessons for both beginner and advanced students, analyses of style elements of this music and videos of traditional players, Heritage musicians, (”rapsozi” in Romanian, “adatközlő” in hungarian).
